Yamaha DXS18XLF-D
An 18-inch self-powered subwoofer built for events that need real low-end extension, not just more level. The DXS18XLF-D reaches down to 30 Hz with 1,600 W of Class-D power behind a long-excursion 18-inch driver. Its onboard 96 kHz DSP handles crossover, limiting, and voicing without any outboard processing.
The “-D” model adds Dante, so audio arrives over the same network as the rest of the system and multi-sub setups don’t need extra analog snake runs. D-XSUB processing gives us Normal, Boost, and Xtended LF voicings to match the program material. The built-in cardioid mode lets us steer bass energy away from the stage when two or more subs are deployed together.
We pair the DXS18XLF-D with our Yamaha CZR passive tops and Powersoft amplification for a full-range PA that scales from receptions to outdoor concerts.
